The opening game of the round was played as scheduled with a moment of solidarity and acknowledgement for those killed in the Christchurch mosque attacks preceding the match.
Asked if in hindsight if they should have played, Plumtree says everything happened so fast on Friday and possibly the game should have been cancelled but there might have not been enough time to make those decisions.
Meanwhile injury replacement South African lock Andries Ferreira has been released from the squad after the recurrence of an injury he suffered last year.
