It seems we're more alarmed than ever about online privacy

A new study suggests just two-percent of New Zealanders trust social media providers with data - including search history, location and personal identification information.
Technology Strategist Mark Shaw says trust is the new currency of the internet and some people are perhaps too naive.
He says there have been a lot of data breaches over the past few years which has impacted thousands of people.
Shaw says we're also sharing more information than ever and people don't always know where it ends up.
