Follow up results of a Lower Hutt reservoir show no presence of e.coli

Water testing yesterday found the bacteria at Naenae reservoir, prompting Wellington Water to add chlorine to the water supply.

Residents may notice an increased taste and odour of chlorine in their drinking water over the next couple of days.

Authorities will continue to test various locations to ensure safe water over the next few days.
