Sarah Walker is hopeful of a strong showing at this weekend's BMX World Cup opening round in Manchester despite being hampered by an injury niggle

The 30 year old London Olympic silver medalist hurt her thumb in training a month ago, and has only just started jumping again.
However she has some confidence after a superb training block in New Zealand over summer.
She says that will come hopefully tomorrow to see what she can cand can't do with her thumb.
There are 10 World Cup races and July's World Champs for riders to earn qualification points for Tokyo.
