    Motorists heading north into Auckland City are advised to exit State Highway One before Ellerslie


    One person has died on a northbound lane - thought to have fallen from a moving vehicle.

    NZTA say all four lanes are closed from the Ellerslie-Panmure Highway interchange.

    The southbound lanes are open, but congested.

    NZTA say it isn't clear how long the road will be closed, and the Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
