Temepara Bailey will take pleasure in trying to harden up some of the Silver Ferns midcourt ahead of the upcoming netball world cup

The veteran Northern Stars midcourter will battle it out with Southern Steel opposites Shannon Saunders and Gina Crampton in tonight's ANZ Premiership elimination final in Invercargill.

Bailey says while she didn't make herself available for the world cup, the Silver Ferns have put together a great team.

He says it's neat to be playing against some of them who will be going to the world champs and she'll look to push them a bit harder.

Temepara Bailey feels Central Pulse midcourter Claire Kersten was the most unlucky in her position to miss out on world cup selection.
