Tohu Harris' decision to withdraw from international duties has been reaffirmed

Tohu Harris' decision to withdraw from international duties has been reaffirmed

The Warriors backrower has chosen not to play for the Kiwis in next Saturday's rugby league international against Tonga in Auckland to have a week off to get his body right.

Harris has battled a knee injury for much of the season, and left the field in the win over the Titans on the Gold Coast with an ankle niggle.

Warriors coach Stephen Kearney says it's a smart move.

He says Harris has quite often only done captain's run and then played, so it's good he gets a break.

The Warriors are next in action at home against the Penrith Panthers on the 30th.
