    Another high-profile test star will be missing from Super Rugby in 2020


    With Sam Whitelock and Brodie Retallick on confirmed sabbaticals and Beauden Barrett also likely to take a break, Springboks hooker Malcolm Marx has followed suit.

    Marx has re-signed with the Lions for the 2021 season, but will be released for a sabbatical in Japan after the World Cup this year before returning to South Africa in June 2020.
