Karl Lawton's re-committed to the Mount Smart club until the end of 2021, after joining the Warriors last season.
Lawton's impressed in his six appearances this season and will start against the Panthers on Sunday.
Coach Stephen Kearney is looking forward to what Lawton can provide in the future.
He says Lawton's good to have around the team and from a football sense his best footy is ahead of him.
The Lawton re-signing likely leaves veteran Issac Luke on the outer, with Nathaniel Roache confirmed for next season and a player option at the feet of Jazz Tevaga.
