The trio have dropped, five, eight and six games between them in storming into the quarter finals in the men's draw.
Federer is thrilled with his 6-1, 6-2, 6-2 win over Italian Matteo Berrettini and is going to be interesting to see how it will be against a stronger base liner.
Argentine Guido Pella has rallied from two sets to love down to beat former finalist Milos Raonic 8-6 in the 5th set.
Women's top seed Ash Barty, third seed Karolina Pliskova and 6th seed Petra Kvitova have all been knocked out, along with 15 year old American Coco Gauff whose run has been ended by 7th seed Simona Halep.
Kiwis Michael Venus and Marcus Daniell are both through to the doubles quarter finals.
