Teachers are urging the government to pump more money into Novopay so they can receive their pay rises sooner

They're taking legal action because they won't get the extra money until September.
Post Primary Teachers' Association vice president, Melanie Webber, says Novopay has been an issue for quite some time.
She says it's hugely under-funded and needs to be addressed.
