    From Nevada to Nelson


    Finn Delany's back home in New Zealand having played for the Dallas Mavericks in the recently completed NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

    The Breakers and Tall Blacks forward averaged 6.3 points, two rebounds and 1.3 assists from 10 minutes a game.

    The excitement doesn't stop for the 23 year old, with the basketball World Cup just over a month away.



    Meanwhile it's semi-finals day in the New Zealand basketball league.

    The Wellington Saints face the Southland Sharks in the first semi at 3:30pm, before the Canterbury Rams play the Hawke's Bay Hawks at 6:30pm.

    Both games are in Christchurch.
