Silver Ferns defender Phoenix Karaka is at peace with the financial part of the World Cup success

Silver Ferns defender Phoenix Karaka is at peace with the financial part of the World Cup success

The financial compensation, or lack thereof, has been in the spotlight since the victory with no winners' cheque allocated or bonuses originally set out.

Karaka says she's thought about it on the plane home quite a bit.

She says she's okay with no bonus because they came for a gold medal.
