Claims families are being given a Clayton's choice about Maori children being taken away

Claims families are being given a Clayton's choice about Maori children being taken away

Whanau representative Dr Alison Green says if children are endangered in her family, she wouldn't go to Oranga Tamariki and the Police.

She says that would lead to the children being removed.

Green says she'd rather be able to notify authorities and know the uplift wouldn't happen but the support would be there so the children could remain.

Green addressed the crowd at protests in front of Parliament today.
