The acting Chief District Court Judge says intensive workload's are worth it ... for sexual violence cases

Auckland and Whangarei now have permanent sexual violence courts - after a pilot programme cut waiting times and didn't re-traumatise complainants.
Judge John Walker says they're immensely important.
He says the separate court is more sensitive to the needs of complainants and vulnerable witnesses - all the while maintaining fair trial rights.
