    Fire has badly damaged a house south of Christchurch this afternoon


    Crews were called to Hororata-Dunsandel road at 4.15 to find the house well ablaze.

    It took crews from Dunsandel, Burnham and Leeston half an hour to get it under control.

    There were no injuries.
