    Condemnation across the political spectrum of a Maori group making a land claim in Australia


    A Sydney-based hapu has launched a legal battle over a 112 hectare site in Parramatta, claiming it was gifted the land in the 1800s.

    Maori Party president Che Wilson says the claim belongs to the local Aboriginal tribe.
