A Dunedin Mayoral candidate says he's just doing his job

A Dunedin Mayoral candidate says he's just doing his job

The Otago Daily Times report 11 complaints have been filed against councillor Lee Vandervis - for inappropriate behaviour, including angry and threatening outbursts.

Vandervis says he's making no apologies for his 42 emails criticising staff.

He says they were certainly challenging emails, accusing staff of being ignorant of council processes and being corrupt.

Vandervis says he's heard about the complaints but hasn't had advice on them.
