    Former Premier League side Bolton Wanderers are facing liquidation by Wednesday


    The sale of the now League One side fell apart on Saturday leaving administrators scrambling to find a solution to save the club.

    Spokesman Paul Appleton says if a sale is not found there's no credible plans for the club to continue the season.

    The 145-year-old club faces expulsion by the English Football League if it's placed into liquidation following a board meeting on Tuesday night.
