    Police are appealing for information about an aggravated robbery at a service station on Auckland's North Shore


    Police say two people forced their way into Mobil on Verran Road, Birkdale about 3.30am and stole cigarettes and cash, before driving off in a stolen vehicle.

    The worker inside was not hurt.

    Police found the getaway vehicle nearby, but haven't yet tracked down the offenders.

    Anyone who saw any suspicious activity around the area can call Waitemata Police or Crimestoppers.
