    As of yesterday, 762 cases had been confirmed in Auckland.

    The Ministry of Health has activated the National Health Coordination Centre.

    Associate health minister Julie Anne Genter says there's no shortage of vaccines.

    A property at Taumata Road in Castor Bay was well involved by the time Fire and Emergency was called last night.

    One local man told the Herald it appeared the fire may have spread to a second property, down a long driveway.

    Chief executive Steven Carden says costs related to electricity, fuel, and Mycoplasma bovis have all risen.



    Despite the loss, Pamu will pay the Government a special dividend of five-million-dollars.

    A man's been charged with assaulting a teenage referee at a junior rugby match in Auckland.

    The 39-year-old will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty to common assault at his first appearance in the Papakura District Court.

    The charge was laid after a 15-year-old referee was punched and strangled by a spectator, after sending a player off.

    The Prime Minister has revealed she's been tweeted a picture of a man's genitals.

    Jacinda Ardern was almost lost for words, as she described the photo.



    Ardern says the image revealed a recognisable tattoo.

    The Warriors have gone down to the Rabbitohs 31-10 in their NRL match in Auckland.

    The Mount Smart club trailed 14-10 at the break, before being kept scoreless in the second spell.



    The Ranfurly Shield is remaining in Dunedin.

    Otago have beaten Manawatu 37-20 in their Mitre 10 Cup match in Dunedin.

    Winger Vilimoni Koroi shone, scoring a hat-trick of tries.
