New Zealand consumers are being told to expect a pricey Christmas, as the US-China trade war continues

Kiwi importers are starting to feel the pinch after the New Zealand dollar's value slipped over the past few weeks.
Auckland Business Chamber CEO Michael Barnett says we'll see a continued softening of the dollar as long as the spat continues.
He says importers are mindful of that and could start to increase prices.
