    Pupils at a Christchurch primary school are being told to stay away as crews battle a fire in a classroom block


    Fire and Emergency are at Russley School, north west of the city dealing with the fire that's affected several classrooms.

    Four appliances and a command unit are in attendance.

    The school is closed for today.
