Dunedin's Octagon busy with punters about for Fleetwood Mac or gathering to watch All Blacks

It's all hands on deck in Dunedin's Octagon - with punters out and about for Fleetwood Mac's performance tonight, or gathering to watch the All Blacks

The All Blacks play South Africa in their first pool game of the 2019 Rugby World Cup at 9.45.

Stuart Street Mac's Brew Bar duty manager Bradley Cumming says extra measures in place should ensure tonight runs smoothly - including road closures so there's more bar space.

He says they've brought on as many staff as they can and everyone's having to put 110 per cent into tonight.

Mr Cumming says the city's had plenty of experience leading up to tonight - with previous All Blacks tests and concerts like Ed Sheeran and Pink bringing out the crowds too.
