    Police continue to seek information from the public following a spate of assaults on women in Auckland


    A man is in custody after police responded to reports that a number of women had been assaulted by what was believed to be the same man at various locations in central Auckland yesterday afternoon.

    Nine complaints have been received so far.

    Police are speaking to a number of victims and are offering them the necessary support.

    No serious injuries have been reported.

    An investigation is underway but police are appealing for further information.
