Questions whether Lime removed an e-scooter from the scene of a fatal accident ... before police started investigating

Questions whether Lime removed an e-scooter from the scene of a fatal accident ... before police started investigating

Neither Lime nor the Police will comment on the claims from Auckland Councillor Christine Fletcher.

Independent crash investigator Hamish Piercy says it's a concerning suggestion.

He says the e-scooter was a key piece of evidence from the scene, and whether there was a malfunction.

Piercy says police could look to obstruction charges if the claims are found true.
