A Hawke's Bay house has burned to the ground this afternoon

A Hawke's Bay house has burned to the ground this afternoon

Fire fighters were called to a property at the end of Wairoa's Ruataniwha Rd about 1pm.

A Fire and Emergency spokesman says the house has been pretty much destroyed and crews are dampening down the site.

It's unclear whether anyone was inside.
