A fantastic second round back-nine has seen Danny Lee make the cut at the latest PGA Tour event in Las Vegas

The Kiwi has sunk birdies on five of his last eight holes to card a three-under day.

That leaves him tied for 60th at five-under, which is also the cut.

World number one Brooks Koepka won't advance to the weekend though.

In his first event since off-season stem cell treatment to repair a partially torn patella tendon in his left knee, the American has carded an even-par round to finish at one-under.

    There's a four-way tie for the lead at 12-under.
