A young Otago University student, a woman, has died after a rowdy Dunedin flat party last night

Two others suffered serious injuries as the party was broken up by police who were called in when it spun out of control.

The incident took place at a flat known as The Manor on Dundas Street.

A second year Otago University student who attended the party earlier in the night says people were packed in like sardines.
