    A man remains in a critical condition after being stabbed in Hamilton


    Police were called to a property on Tristram Street about 5.40 last night.

    The nearby FMG Waikato Stadium was put into lockdown for about half an hour during a Waikato vs Taranaki NPC game.

    Waikato DHB says the man remains in intensive care after undergoing surgery.

    Police are continuing to investigate.
