The Cancer Society says reducing rates of skin cancer, requires greater investment in sun smart messaging

A study has found the SunSmart programme which told Aussies to Slip Slop Slap has contributed to a reduction in melanoma in younger people across the ditch.
Cancer Society New Zealand chief executive Mike Kernaghan says the message still doesn't appear to be getting through on this side of The Ditch.
He says New Zealand has the highest number of skin cancer cases per head of population.
