A severe weather warning's been lifted for Coastal Otago

A severe weather warning's been lifted for Coastal Otago

MetService has been forecasting extreme rainfall for the region - but says the worst has now passed.

Light rain is expected to continue until midday tomorrow.

MetService says rainfall intensities are also easing in Central Otago - but they're continuing to monitor river and lake levels.
