    former Christchurch City Councillor.Deon Swiggs has welcomed a call, from one of the complainants against him to particpate in the Code of Conduct process


    Swiggs is currently awaiting a decision on whether the Council will proceed with the investigation, since he lost the weekend's the election.

    An independent investigator last week dismissed three complaints against Swiggs but ruled two required further investigation to assess whether Swiggs has breached the council's Code of Conduct.

    A complainant has called for the investigation to continue. His complaint is one of the two independent investigator, John Matthews, ruled require further investigation.

    Swiggs says he will continue to co-operate with the investigation, as long as the process is fair and transparent.
