Lockie Ferguson's come face-to-face with a modern terror of having a fractured right thumb

The Black Caps pace bowler has rehabilitated to a point where he will mark out his run for a New Zealand XI in two Twenty20 warm-up games against England at Lincoln next week.

Ferguson suffered the injury in Sri Lanka last month and he explains one significant drawback.

When Ferguson last played England he took three wickets for 50 runs during New Zealand's World Cup final loss by zero runs at Lord's in July.
