Two people have been arrested, nearly a year after an infant was seriously injured in an Auckland home

Police have been investigating since the eight week old baby was taken to hospital with serious injuries in November last year.

They've have now charged a man and a woman - both aged 33 - with ill-treatment or neglect of a child.

The woman also faces charges of wounding with reckless disregard.
