    Lewis Hamilton has inched closer to a sixth Formula One world title with victory at the Mexican grand prix


    The Mercedes' driver has beaten Ferrari's Sebastien Vettel by 1.7 seconds, with teammate Valterri Bottas third.

    Had Bottas finished fourth, Hamilton would have wrapped up the championship.
