    The pressure in his tyres will be greater than the pressure in his head for the Tour of Southland's defending champion


    After a decade of trying and numerous podium finishes, Michael Vink won his maiden tour last year.

    The latest edition starts today and Vink says it's good to have the monkey off his back.



    A 4.2 kilometre team trial starts the race from 4.30pm.
