32-year-old Venod Skantha has pleaded not guilty to murdering Amber-Rose Rush late on a Friday night early last year.
Today his then-girlfriend Brigid Clinton took the stand.
Skantha's defense Jonathan Eaton, QC, told Clinton that from two days after the death - police were following her and Skantha.
The Court heard the movements of Skantha, Clinton and a teenage friend.
They visited Amber-Rose's mother, before the couple had drinks at home - then went out again for petrol and KFC.
Skantha was arrested later that night.
