The Crown has wrapped up its case against the man accused of murdering Grace Millane

The Crown has wrapped up its case against the man accused of murdering Grace Millane

There's no denying the British backpacker died in his central Auckland apartment - but his defence says it was an accident.

Thirty witnesses over two weeks have painted a picture of how Grace Millane spent her last hours alive.

The court's also learned of what the accused did afterwards - as CCTV shows him renting a car, buying cleaning products, and the moment he wheels a suitcase containing her body out of his apartment.

The defence will present its case next week.
