A boost to emergency care for Queenstown

A boost to emergency care for Queenstown

Health Minister David Clark has officially opened Lakes District Hospital's redeveloped ED and outpatient facilities.

He says being one of the most beautiful places in the world, booming tourism and population growth have put significant extra pressures on health services.

Southern DHB invested 9.3 million dollars in the project, and the community raised funds for a new CT scanner.
