Strategy is the focus for the Tall Ferns ahead of tonight's Olympic pre-Qualifying series match against China

New Zealand come off a thumping victory over the Philippines, with another win tonight all but guaranteeing them a spot at the next qualifying tournament.

They'll have to overcome world number eight China, who boast a seven footer and six foot nine player.

Veteran guard Micaela Cocks says trying to out muscle them inside isn't wise.

Tip off from West Auckland's at 5:30pm.
