    Newstalk ZB Sport -

Breakers owner Matt Walsh has confirmed US import Glen Rice Junior has been charged over an alleged assault at an Auckland bar earlier in the week.

Rice is with the team in Perth and is expected to take the court against the Wildcats today.

The Tall Ferns basketballers have been beaten 94-71 by China in their Olympic qualifier in West Auckland.

The Tall Ferns face South Korea today.

The last man to triumph on the world squash stage is disappointed Paul Coll couldn't be at 100 percent for his maiden tilt at world championships gold.

The New Zealander was beaten in the final in Doha - hindered by a quad injury from the second game onwards.

Ross Norman is the last New Zealand male to win a world squash title - back in 1986 - and says it's a shame Coll wasn't able to take that last step and come away with the trophy.
