    Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a crash which left a motorcyclist dead in Waimate


    Emergency services were called to the crash between a car and motorcycle on Timaru Road around 6.15 last night.

    The motorcyclist died at the scene and four other people received moderate injuries.
