65-year-old Pierclaudio Raviola was found with serious head injuries in March 2017 - and died in hospital two days later.
Two others have already been charged over the death - 17-year-old Moses Hurrell is serving 3 and a half years for manslaughter - and another teen was charged with murder.
Today, 40-year-old Deborah Tihema and 22-year-old Cyle Jetson are before the High Court in Christchurch.
