Another push for action on a medicine funding crisis

Another push for action on a medicine funding crisis

Eight petitions with almost 48 thousand signatures have been presented to MPs - pleading for money for drugs and devices.

An over-arching petition's also been started - calling for the immediate doubling of PHARMAC's budget and reform of the agency.

Patient Voice Aotearoa chair Malcolm Mulholland says thousands are dying unnecessarily or prematurely, or struggling to get by.
