A poor showing for New Zealand's top skiers at the latest giant slalom world cup event in Vermont

Alice Robinson, who won the first event in Austria, has failed to finish her first run, making her ineligible for a second.

Compatriot Piera Hudson could only manage the 44th best time, and missed the top 30 cut off.
