    One person's dead after a single-car crash in Elephant Hill, south of Timaru


    Police were alerted around 12.40 this afternoon to a vehicle at the bottom of a gully off Clarkesfield Road in the rural area.

    The dead person was found by Police, and is thought to have been the sole-occupant of the vehilce.

    The crash is being investigated.
