Kiwi surfer Paige Hareb plans to shred up the West Coast of Auckland this summer in preparation of the Piha Pro

The new Challenger Series event will be the first World Surf League competition hosted by New Zealand in five years.

Hareb's looking forward to competing at home.

Hareb will need to work her way back through the World Surf League qualifying series next year after missing out on a Championship Tour spot.
