Peter Burling and Blair Tuke may be one of the teams to beat after the qualifying series of the 49er sailing World Championships in Auckland, but they know they have more to give

The Olympic gold medalists are currently second with three wins under their belt, one point behind a pair from Germany.

Tuke says while the boat is trucking along well, it's not perfect.

Fellow kiwis Oscar Gunn and Logan Dunning Beck are sixth.

Nacra 17 sailors Olivia Mackay and Jason Saunders have had two wins and a third to improve to ninth overall.

49er FX sailors Molly Meech and Alex Maloney have fallen to eighth overall.
