Australian cricket batsman Steve Smith expects to put under the pump if he's to face Trent Boult in Thursday's opening test against the Black Caps in Perth

Australian cricket batsman Steve Smith expects to put under the pump if he's to face Trent Boult in Thursday's opening test against the Black Caps in Perth

The former skipper's been dismissed by the New Zealand quick four times in tests, however it's unclear whether Boult will play as he continues to battle a side strain.

Smith says while Boult might be a bit underdone, they need to be very watchful if he does play.
